Melanie and Greg met a few years ago, at a wedding in Puerto Rico of all places… they hit it off so well they started dating, and soon found themselves committed to a long-distance relationship, flying back and forth from New York to Los Angeles to spend time together (which sounds just like a romantic movie to me, although I’m sure it wasn’t easy)! They spent a little over a year on opposite sides of the country before settling in Minneapolis, and when they decided to get married, they chose West Michigan, where Greg grew up. Their wedding will be in the late summer (almost exactly one year from this engagement session, in fact), near the lake, and there are sure to be plenty of gorgeous details… I know it will be beautiful! This was the first time I met them, and I really, truly think they are amazing people. We had a great time during our session, and I am so lucky once again to have nice clients to work with! It was a little windy, but so nice out at Kirk Park in Holland, we climbed the steps up to the lookout, and waded in the breaking waves as the sun was going down, it was a perfect night. I’m excited to share my favorites with them (and everyone) here!
UPDATE: The couple changed their plans and will be getting married in Eleuthera, Bahamas in April! Can’t wait!
