I had never met Dan or Dana until their wedding day, but when we got to the church that morning, I quickly felt at ease by her warm smile, her amazing family and friends, and a the sense that we were being welcomed as guests, not just “the photographer and her husband”. I love that, and I appreciate that so much! The girls were sweet and friendly, and the guys were charming, humorous and outgoing, it was impossible not to smile and laugh just being around them, watching them joke with each other. It was another hot day in June, but nothing ever felt rushed. There was plenty of time to relax and appreciate the details they had put together for their wedding. Dan and Dana did not see each other before the ceremony began, and he had the sweetest smile on his face when he saw her coming down the aisle! I saw him look at her that way time and time again, all day long. Their wedding was sweet, their reception was a blast, and it was so hard to leave while everyone was dancing the night away (we stayed way too late for a 2.5 hour drive home to Michigan – and for that I am so thankful to my husband Ron for driving us home… I was exhausted)! Dan and Dana, I can see your love for each other just as much as I can see that you are best friends. Your wedding was unforgettable, so thank you again for letting me be a small part of it.
