Recently I was contacted by a new client who wanted portraits taken to capture her baby bump… as well as their child’s first year! I was thrilled that someone was entrusting me for a long-term portrait project like this, and tonight when I met Leah for the first time I was even more excited that I am going to get to work with such an amazing, sweet person, as well as her husband Chad (who seems like a really cool guy) and their adorable little girl Bea! Although I have a couple other sessions ahead of this that I need to blog, I had to post just one preview photo to accompany this idea – I wanted to mention this to anyone else who might be expecting, or thinking about, or trying to be, expecting a baby in the near future! I will be creating a package that will include a maternity, newborn, 6 month, and 1 year photos. It will include a few other goodies as well, such as spiral bound mini albums, custom birth announcements, and a flush-mount album including all your favorites from the 4 sessions. I know some people don’t feel comfortable with a maternity session, but seriously consider it (whomever you hire!) – it is such a special time, if you are so blessed. So, have someone capture it!
