I was so happy to photograph newborn baby Lauren this morning… documenting the beginning of a brand new life, as a wonderful year comes to an end. She is welcomed by her mom and dad Bethany and Derk, and two charming big brothers Jalen and Ty (who I have photographed before). Now they are a fabulous party of five, and I am so happy for them! Lauren is a wiggly, active little girl, she never stops waving or kicking whenever she is awake… which is funny, because she was awake for most of our session! Usually she sleeps all day, but since today was picture day, she decided to shake things up a bit! However, I was in no rush and Bethany was able to get her to doze off for some beautiful sleepy newborn photos… and I got in close to capture all those precious details. She is beautiful, and I loved meeting her. I started looking through my images when I got home, and decided to get a blog post up right away! Here are my favorites…
