Hi, my name is Mindy Denning and I created Mindy Leigh Photography a couple years ago, so that I could challenge myself to create images that others will cherish. The dreams I have for my business keep growing as time goes by... I am just doing my best to keep up with my ideas! The purpose of this blog is to share some of my favorite images, but I also love giving readers a little bit of insight with a story that goes along with the photos. I hope it helps you to connect with the people and places I capture... each unique and special in their own way.

I am supported by my wonderful husband Ron, and our two young children Lucy and Henry - who keep me busy enough on their own! They are really what has inspired me to capture life's honest, real moments, and constantly remind me that I need to maintain balance in my life. I love being a stay-at-home mom, but photography gives me a wonderful outlet, and a way to give to others. The rest of family and friends have been amazing as well, which has given me so much confidence that this is what I am meant to do.

I grew up and live in West Michigan, and I love it dearly. I also love to hit the road and see new places! I am more than happy to travel for photography, weddings, portraits, or lifestyle sessions.
