2009 ended with a pretty memorable cold snap,
but that didn’t stop Ashley and Alex from meeting me
in downtown GR for their engagement session
the day before New Years Eve!

This is a popular spot for photographers for its pretty light, dramatic lines…
but I will be honest, that day it was not my initial plan to stop there!
However, we had already gone halfway across the bridge so I figured,
why not keep going?
Then we found it: shelter from the cold wind…
