What is included in the session fee?

The session fee is always a flat rate that is based on the type of session (see Pricing for more information), and includes the digital download of all edited images. Sessions may vary, but usually I am able to deliver 75 images or more, which are color-corrected, adjusted, and retouched. I will take time for extensive retouching on a few images for free. Extensive retouching on a full gallery will be an additional charge.

Where Should Our Session Take Place?

It is my goal that the style and location reflect my client’s personality as much as possible! That being said, popular locations are nearby parks, the beach, downtown (suburban downtowns, or a larger city such as Grand Rapids), or anywhere that might have a special meaning to you. I have some tried-and-true spots that I know work well, but I love to start with my clients’ general idea as a jumping off point, and I’m always up for something new - as long as it is safe and we are legally okay to be there! Newborn sessions are almost always done at the client’s home. I do not rent a studio space.

how long until i get my photos?

I cannot make guarantees about editing turnaround time. Some sessions can be finished more quickly than others and my priority is quality over speed. I am usually finished editing a session in around 2 weeks. I do my best to send preview images while you wait, and to communicate about my progress.
